Imporant!
Before you start the update, make a copy of the *.DDD files which are in the device in the following locations:
- PNSTACHO -> CARD;
- and PNSTACHO -> TACHO.
To update your system, perform the following actions:
- Connect the TachoReader Combo Plus device to the computer;
- Wait while Windows installs the drivers for the updated device;
- Download and save the latest version of the software for the TachoReader Combo Plus device (from the website: Device Software);
Note!
Due to technological development, TachoReader Combo Plus devices can have different types of components.
Before you start updating, check the serial number located on the bottom of the device.

- Download the TachoReader Combo 1.x.x (.exe) version for devices whose serial number ends with the letter "A", "B" or "AT".
- Download the TachoReader Combo 5.x.x (.exe) version for devices whose serial number ends with a digit.
4. Unzip the downloaded file to your chosen location;
5. . Start the TachoReader Combo Plus update program and follow the displayed instructions;
Important!
If the update process stops at 12%, please close the update process via Windows Task Manager and run the update again.
Note
During the update procedure, a message about copying *.DDD files will appear. Because the files have already been copied before updating the device (see the warning at the beginning of the instructions), copy the files, e.g. to the C drive or directly to the dashboard.
6. After updating, start the TachoReaderConfigurator.exe application on the device, and then click the Save configuration button.
