In case of problems with the reading of the data from the tachograph:
- Check that the key in the ignition is turned to the position II (ignition) – until the lights on the dashboard come on (tachograph on).
- Check that the company card is up to date, inserted and correctly logged into the tachograph.
- Check the correct connection of the device to the tachograph via the TRC cable.
- Check and possibly free up space on the microSD memory card of the device by transferring previous readings to another medium (e.g. computer disk).
- Check/replace the batteries in the device – AA 1.5V 2 pcs. (this is especially important in case of new tachographs).
- Do not remove the company card until the device has finished downloading data.
- Perform a software update on the device (detailed update instructions are available here).
- Restore the default settings in the Tachoreader configurator.
